I was Googling this last night & you can buy the soundtrack &/or MP3 clips on Amazon (!).
I'm sure the musical was lovely, but isn't it time for something a little less quirky and lighthearted? (says the gal who can't stand musicals. :))
I think your play would be very different. There can definitely be more than one theatrical production on the topic.
